I think I finally figured out what I do not like about the BS. It is too clean, antiseptic and sterile. Ok, kind of an odd description for an old building with concrete floors. What I didn't see was dust, stacks of books askew and an old cat lazily stretching in the window. No character. Almost too "old book store". Does that make sense?
We can't buy any books without a slush fund. Can I suggest we spend some time this coming Saturday doing so actually planning? We have seen a variety of stores. Also, we should go through the inventory. I'd like to get a total on the number of books we have - rare, used and first editions.
