On drawbacks to buying online:
"unlike browsing in a bookstore, to find a book on an Internet site you have to know what you're looking for. Perhaps more important, you don't run across items that your not looking for."
"since in most cases you can't see even pictures of the book before buying, your purchase has two questions marks--condition and edition." pp 47-48 Matthew Budman's "Collecting Books."
Budman also suggests a sit called AddAll- (used. addall.com)
